Weekend Weather: The Creek Rises

Alhambra Creek continued rising Sunday morning and Pacheco Boulevard was flooded at Arthur Road

Alhambra Creek was rising Sunday morning, as the city waits in anticipation of high tide at 2:49 p.m., when a combination of storm runoff and river innundation could lead to problems downtown.

In addition, storm water collected at the corner of Arthur Road and Pacheco Boulevard, making much of the intersection unpassable.

Have you seen other problem areas in town? Post photos and videos on the site.

I would gladly comment on MARTINEZ PATCH, but they slop-over to other "Patch's" . Apparently there is but one true PATCH, with local name attachment added to make it sound like it's all so very local. I have no interest in this sort of subterfuge. Censorship is alive and well at Lamorinda Patch - I abhor censorship.

Been having the same probs. I wonder if I'm on the Seattle Patch?

Personally, I like that Our local Patch teams up with other local Patch sites. There are only so many local Patch reporters and linking some local articles allows the reader to hear more local news and readers voices.
