The annual Shell/MEF Run for Education is Sunday morning, Oct. 7. Here is the list of downtown street closures for the event. The following streets will be closed between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM (though it typically does not take that long). You can still register for the run at http://www.theschedule.com/EventInfo.cfm?EventID=39213. All proceeds go to benefit the Martinez Unified School District schools, and Shell will match the first $10,000 in registrations.
- Main Street (between Berrellesa and Court Street)
- Alhambra (between Marina Vista and Soto Street)
- Marina Vista (between Berrellesa and Shell Avenue)
- Escobar (between Berrellesa and Miller)
- Soto (between Berrellesa and Alhambra)
- Berrellesa (between Soto and Buckley)
- Court (between Main Street and Marina Vista)
- Buckley (between Berrellesa and Talbert)
- Talbert (between Buckley and Carquinez Scenic Drive)
