Pet of the Week

Meet Haydon the Bunny

Haydon is a Mini Lop Eared male bunny. The term “Lop” applies to the long and wide ears of these rabbits. Haydon is an indoor bunny. He will need a safe and comfortable kennel or cage where he can see you. Just seeing you will make him feel connected to you. Contra Costa Animal services has lots of information on preparing rabbit quarters that are safe and cozy, as well as other information on keeping a rabbit as an indoor pet. Rabbits can be litter box trained.

Haydon will need some exercise each day. Rabbits are most active in the morning and evening, which is a great time for you to let them out of their quarters and play with them. Haydon is very easy-going and likes being petted, even held. He’s very loving and will want to spend quality one-on-one time with you. As a mini lop bunny, he won’t get much bigger than he already is.

Haydon is a very beautiful bunny with creamy-white fur, and long beige ears. He has distinctive markings around his eyes and two next to  his nose, which makes him look like he has a mustache! But it’s his dark eyes that reveal his sweet and loving spirit. He would be a great pet for an older child or an adult. His pictures do not capture his effervescent cuteness! You have to meet Haydon in person to see what an adorable bunny he really is! He will need to be neutered before he can be adopted. (ID: A665509).
