Martinez Connection:  Works in Martinez several days a week and enjoys many Martinez restaurants, but her favorites are for special occasions and Victoria's Cafe at 701 Main Street because she loves the homemade soups.

Reporter's Notes: It's easy to learn about the history of your house or property, but you must know  the name of the past owner or name of the house, name of the former ranch/farm property or development project name.  Just a current address is not enough. Researchers are available to help. CCCHS is located at 610 Main Street, and is open Tues, Wed, Thur, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the third Sat of each month, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can contact them at 925)-229-1042
