Police are cracking down on drivers who text at the same time, and most people feel like that's a good idea.
But now comes the notion that texting while walking can lead to unsafe situations. A town in New Jersey has decided that it's enough of a hazard to impose an $85 fine on those caught texting while walking.

If this City wants to impose such an insane law, they need their heads examined. Less government folks, less -- not more. New Jersey must be out of their minds. Let them be a laughing stock for a while. We have had our turn in the barrel.
