Martinez Early Childhood Center Benefit Friday

A guitar signed by each member of Huey Lewis and the News would normally bring in quite a bit of coin, were you to purchase it on eBay or in a speciality store.

But a chance for just such an instrument can be yours, and so much more, for a mere $35. But that same $35 also gets you unlimited wine, endless food, and live music by the phenomenal Blue Moon Brothers.

It all happens Friday, May 10, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Martinez Event Center, 524 Main St., as the Martinez Early Childhood Center hosts the 34th annual wine tasting event.
