Lots To Do On A Summer Weekend

Today is Friday, July 15, 2011. It's time for a bucolic summer weekend in and around Martinez. There is tonight at Armando's Happy Hour and a Half to kick things off, the car show and live music, the , tomorrow's dinner debut at Creek Monkey Tap House, and Sunday's , along with the Farmers Market. Sunday is also the in Crockett, with plenty of family activities and lots of live music. There is a lot going on, so you don't have to have a lazy summer. But it's nice to have that option.

Areas of low clouds in the morning then sunny. Highs in the mid 70s. West winds 10 to 20 mph.

A Flare To Remember - 1:22 a.m. There was excessive flaring reported at the Shell Refinery.
Bedroom on Four Wheels - 4:25 a.m. A person was cited for sleeping in their vehicle at the marina.
Clothes Out - 7:29 a.m. A man reports an ongoing problem with his clothes being removed from the community washer/dryer and thrown into the trash.
Theft From Car – 5:21 p.m. Golf clubs were stolen from the back of a truck on Quiet Lake Place.
