Wow! Rumble and shake! A bit alarming. Folks on the other side of the hill must've gotten bounced real good.

I had just gotten out of bed not more than a few seconds before it hit. I was slipping my pants on and had one leg in the air attempting to aim it into my pants all in the dark mind you. As it hit I did a dance on one foot until I finally feel back into bed.

Pretty straight forward, as earthquakes go. Just rode it out on a very old and rickety canopy bed. Didn't know there was a "big one" coming or I would have been afraid. hee hee

This one really shook up Becky. She woke up just before it went off, then she got dressed and then we talked about it for a while, then she went back to sleep dressed, just in case she has to run out of the house. If this is a precurser quake. I barely felt it, I only feel these smaller ones if I am sitting still, which is very rare.

Shake and wake. What a way to start the day. Working on a brick chimney today. Maybe the quake took it down for me.

I want a steel reinforced heavy duty canopy bed to stop the roof form crushing us shoudl the big one hit. Seems yo spend 1/3 of your life in bed, and you could jump on your bed if a big one hit, make it a water bed and there you have it,

it was a good enough shake to wake me up from a deep sleep. my bedside lamp fell over too.

I could hear it coming, in two parts. The first tremor hit and was very noticable, followed by the second tremor just seconds later, which was quite profound. The tremors got my daughter out of bed and into my bedroom immediately, which really speaks to the strength of the tremors!

Was already awake. Felt a moderately sharp jolt lasting about a second or two with the house creaking for another 1-2 seconds. Woke up my dogs, who usually sleep through anything!

I woke up to the closet doors shaking and the bed vibrating. Seems like it lasted a long time! The dogs and the baby didn't seem to be bothered at all.

It woke me up, felt it for a few seconds; normally I'm a deep sleeper, but I felt this one

My eyes open...are the babies crying- no! Why am I awake? Creak... Oh that's a familiar sound... Here we go for a little ride and I hope it's not big!
