Music Monday: Makin' Some Noise with cb & jenny

Many months ago I was asked to pen and submit CD and local music reviews and I did a few. Keeping up with that and finding enough to write about became difficult so adjustments were made and I was going to start doing a blog. That was a spectacular success on my part; just go back a look at my record...

Thus it’s been pointed out to me several times that I am a terrible blogger... I am however tenacious at times so I have enlisted a helper, one Jenny Starmack, and we are going to try and start anew.

Our intention is to try and get things done on a regular schedule and we will shoot for bi-weekly for now. We want to focus on compiling information and sharing our thoughts on the musical happenings in and around town.

That said, there seems to be an increase in musical offerings happening here in our little town and it’s our intention and hope to keep you informed about as many of them as we can so you can get out and support live music and venues.

We are going to need your help as we can’t be everywhere. What we ask of you all is to let us know about your events, your likes and dislikes - what do you want to hear about - think of the blog as the Martinez musical suggestion box where you can drop off your ideas, impressions of things you’ve seen and heard or just alert others to an event.
