The Turkish imports store is relocating to Sonoma, while a new pizzeria is preparing to open in a couple of weeks.

, a proprietor of exotic trinkets and colorful rugs from Turkey, will be closing in the coming months, according to store owner Tuncay Esener. The store is relocating to its new space in Sonoma, which opened a few months ago. The retail unit at 613 Main Street is currently available for rent.

Meanwhile, Marty Ochoa and his team are hard at work preparing for the grand opening of the new pizzeria — the self-titled Marty O's. The restaurant is looking good, with lots of light and space, and Ochoa says they plan to start serving Main Street with pizzas, salads and drinks in the next couple of weeks.

Yeah Marty! One more reason to dine downtown. The more choices people have, the better and they will return to dining AND shopping downtown.

I'm sure Marty will make a success of his new business! We needed a pizzeria and gathering place downtown! Marty, save the MHA seats in the back!
