Game 1 of the 2012 World Series: Where Are You Watching?

Here's all the information on schedules and tickets. We want to hear how you think this series is going to go.

You can watch from Barrel Aged, Sunflower Garden, Ray's Lounge, Cue and Brew or Creek Monkey Tap House. There are choices in Martinez where you can see the World Series if you want to socialize while the Giants take on the Detroit Tigers in the World Series (as a season-long fan of the Orange and Black, those are some of the most satisfying words I've typed all year).

So the question is not if but where you are watching Game 1. First pitch is set for at 5:07 p.m. at AT&T Park.

  • Are you heading to a sports bar?
  • Prefer the comfort of your own home (and the choice of Kruk and Kuip on the radio over Fox's team of Joe Buck and Tim McCarver)?
  • Or are you big time and heading to AT&T Park?

The Giants stormed into 2012 World Series Monday night by scorching the St. Louis Cardinals 9-0 behind the undaunted pitching of Matt Cain and the mind-boggling hitting performance by Marco Scutaro. The Tigers, boasting Cy Young and AL MVP candidates in Justin Verlander and Miguel Cabrera, respectively, are an even more daunting foe.
