Creek Monkey Tap House, which had a "soft launch" last Friday and Saturday with a reservation-only food service, will open for lunch to the general public this week from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinners will be served in the near future.
The restaurant and brew pub, at 611 Escobar St., features more than 30 microbrews on tap, and locally-sourced food.
Among those enjoying the opening Friday was Mayor Rob Schroder, who proclaimed July 8 as Creek Monkey Tap House Day, and Main Street Martinez Director Leanne Peterson and Planning Commissioner Rachel Ford (seen in the video).
