Citrus Salon: A Dream Came True, Then Got Bigger

Candice Gliatto just moved her hair salon two blocks down Main Street, and re-opened in a larger space.

Citrus Salon was a dream that Candice Gliatto had that came true in 2009, when she opened her first salon on the 800 block of Main Street. But two years later - on Tuesday, Jan. 4, to be exact - she re-opened the doors of her new, expanded salon at 631 Main Street with partner Tessa Rangel.

The ribbon cutting was a happy, if emotional affair, as a large group of well-wishers showed up to help her launch the new place.

Thanks Nicole and Ashley! I've given my salon everything I have for two and a half years and I take pride in what is has become. All of the positive feed back and support from the community makes all the hard work worth it. Thank you Patch for the great article!

Candice is an impressive person all around, not just in buisness, but what she does for our city and in life.

Thrillled to finally have found a salon in downtown Martinez that looks amazing, the energy in the salon is super (everyone is made to feel that they are VIPs.). On my first appointment with Tessa, she transformed my hair and I left the salon feeling like a million dollars! I would strongly recoommend Citrus Salon.
