Sign-up Now for Swim & Nature Camps

The popular camps kick off a week from Monday and no drop-ins are allowed.

Your children can discover the wildlife living in our midst, gets tons of exercise, while enjoying their friends or making new ones. Sound idyllic? I know plenty of adults who’d love to spend their days this way.

The City of Martinez Recreation Department is putting on its Swim & Nature Camps for school-aged kids. Each session lasts one week and has a different theme:

  • Week 1: July 8 – July 12 “On the Water’s Edge”
  • Week 2: July 15 – July 19 “In our own Backyard”
  • Week 3: July 22 - July 26 “Bugs”
  • Week 4: July 29 – August 2 “Our Feathered Friends”

Mornings are devoted to learning about the environment. Afternoons are spent at Rankin Aquatic Center. Space is limited to 25 children, aged 6-11.
