Saturday Night Is 'Comedy At The Campbell'

Joe Klocek headlines a night of comedy at music at the Campbell Theater on Saturday.

Comedy is returning to Martinez. In the 1980s and 90s, local audiences enjoyed weekly comedic talents at the now-closed Fubar’s on Arnold Drive.

This Saturday, comedian Joe Klocek will headline an evening of comedy and music at the Campbell Theater. Klocek was recently named “Best Comic in the City” by the SF Weekly Readers Poll. He has appeared on the TV shows “Last Comic Standing” and “Comedy Central.”

Joining Klocek will be Best of the Bay Area competition winner Myles Weber. Rounding out the evening will be music from the acapella group Houseblend.

“Comedy At The Campbell” begins on Saturday, January 28 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $18, and you can buy them online at www.willowstheatre.org, or by phoning (925) 798-1300.

Paint the railroad trestle that crosses Alhambra. It's an eyesore.
