Last Chance: 'Life Could Be A Dream' In Its Final Week

Don't miss this musical trip to days gone by, and check out the newest feature in Martinez Patch.

It’s the sound of nostalgia and the sound of romance, in four part harmony, as four boys from Springfield called the Crooning Crabcakes enter a radio contest and dream of making it to the big time. Trouble ensues in the form of a woman who arrives to put some polish on the group. Hear tunes likes “Earth Angel,” “Only You,” and “Unchained Melody.” Only four more performances to go – Thursday through Sunday at the Willows Theater. Get your tickets at www.willowstheater.org.

My first dance with my husband at our wedding was to "Earth Angel" (but the version from Back to Future, by fictional band Marvin Berry & The Starlighters)... good memories!

Ah, Emily. What a lovely choice for a first dance... I'm a sucker for "Unchained Melody" and "Only You," so this is a show I want to see before it leaves.

I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Loved the character of Eugene, but really enjoyed the whole ensemble. Recommend it for a fun evening.
