Why Go: There will be a giant carnival, nightly fireworks, family fun center and free nightly concerts with admission. Some headliners include Dokken, ConFunkShun, Air Supply and The Family Stone.

Why Go: Join legendary percussionist Pete Escovedo for an evening of latin jazz and salsa.

Why Go: Benicia Plein Air Gallery artist Dixie Mohan has a show at Umpqua Bank for the month of August. There will be a reception to kick off the show on Friday evening.

Why Go: This celebration of the Martinez beavers who were saved by the community will feature live music, unique wildlife displays, and a “paint your own tail” activity complete with a contest/fashion show at 1:30 awarding prizes for the most creative entries.
