Art in the Park with Live Music TheMartinez Arts Association proudly presents the 43rd annual celebration of Art in the Park with Live music. Local artists and artists from all over the Bay Area and as far away as Oregon will be at this event to show and sell their art. Also for your added enjoyment there will be live music provided by known local musicians. You can listen while visiting the various artists booths or pull up a chair and sit under the shade of a tree. There will be a Beer & Wine Garden along with food booths for your drinking and dining pleasure. Join us downtown at Susana Park, one block from City Hall. The celebration begins at 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. It is a family event with children's activities and it is free. All proceeds benefit the Art Assoc. Scholarship fund and grant programs.

I'm looking for someone to share a booth and I would pay half the fee. I am stretched thin that weekend with the reunion and could give a couple hours in the morning and evening breaking down. Just talked to Marlene and she told me art is juried so that it is not mass produced art and others things, not on artist content, which I am very happy about. And agree with. If you know some of my art please contact me at 926 864 7872 and let me know. I will probably only show and sell 12 pieces. Thank you.

Paint the railroad trestle that crosses Alhambra. It's an eyesore.

I agree, but the money is going to other places...whatever they are.
