What's Closed in Martinez on Labor Day?

Labor Day is Sept. 3, 2012. Here's what's closed and what's open on the holiday Monday. Know of other closures or businesses staying open? Add them in the comments.

Closed on Labor Day

All city offices will be closed, including administrative offices of city government.

All county offices are closed. Emergency services and 24-hour operations will continue; regular office hours resume Tuesday morning.

The Contra Costa County Animal Services shelter in Martinez will be closed, as it always is on Mondays.

The Senior Community Center will be closed.

All county-operated Head Start/Early Head Start centers will be closed. 

All post offices will be closed.

Open on Labor Day

The Rankin Aquatic Center will be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for recreational swimming.

The John Muir National Historic Site will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
