'Trunk Or Treat' A Spook-tacular Success

Sunday's event on Main Street drew hundreds of people, and an array of goblins, ghosts and superheroes, too.

Sure, it's not unusual to see unusual people on Main Street. We're kind of famous for our, um, diversity of humanity. But Sunday morning saw an amazing display of ghosts, goblins, superheroes, princesses, and more, at the annual Trunk Or Treat event, sponsored by Main Street Martinez.

Various businesses pulled their cars, trucks and vans up to Main Street, filled their decorated trunks with candy, and the kids (and parents) came out in droves to fill their bags with sugary treats.

The Sunday farmers market was going on at the same time, but oddly enough didn't draw the same level of interest from the kids as the cars full of candy did.
