Park at the West end of F Street and hike up to the ridge line and check out the view. On a clear day you can see snow in the Serrias and all of Martinez.

1)Take the kids to story time at the downtown library, and then pancakes at Victoria's Cafe. 2) Hiking at Hidden Lakes Park 3) Run the track above Alhambra High. 4) take a jog around the marina trails, then grab a gatorade and rest at Luigi's. 5) dessert on a warm night at Ian's Yogurt.

How about the best Italian food in Martinez at Mangia Bene. The best frozen yoghurt at Ian's. The best cheezy bread at Pacifica Pizza. The best place to have a party - Martinez Event Center. The best frozen margaritas at La Tapatia. The best taco salad at Cinco de Mayo.

You know just thinking. This article is a great ad in itself. People should consider going in on making this article a link , promote it? and paid advertisement for Martinez on FB or other social media ?? It is from locals and what we like, and names a lot of places, shows our city in a positive light and what we have to offer, places to go here and best of all is free. I'm gonna share. PS. I know the author could not list them all, some great places left off some of which others are naming.

catch a show at Armando's! Quaff and dine at Creek Monkey! Hike ANYWHERE in Briones... Go to a Bulldogs Football game ride your bike across the Carquinez Bridge Hang at the Good Stuff music store Dine at La Tapitia on Main Enjoy the pool not only for what it is but what it was (a WPA project supplying years of fun and swim meets)

Visit the Martinez Museum, see the exhibits and talk to the docents about what to see and do in town. Before going, google "Martinez Museum" to check the museum's hours.
