Walnut St. residence is transformed each year into a holiday lights spectacular.
This story first ran last year, but it seems like a relevant subject to run again today.
Every year in December, Walnut St. resident Joseph Brock and his wife literally transform their home into a wonderland of lights, sounds and magic. Families from all over the city, and elsewhere, find the otherwise-quiet street to gaze in awe at the dizzying collection that seemingly goes on without end. Brock begins decorating for Christmas the day after Halloween, and continues decorating all the way through Christmas Day. Martinez Patch videographer John Beck takes a look at this special Martinez holiday tradition.
