Property owners and residents in the Vine Hill area in Martinez were fed up with trespassing dirtbikers tearing up and riding on private property in their neighborhood.
After months of noise, dust and fuel odors from dirt bikers, motorcyclists and four-wheelers, the locals finally got some attention, help and are now fighting back with new warning signs and boulders to block the access.

Vine Hill is in an unincorporated area of Contra Costa County about two miles east of downtown Martinez, according to census logs.
