But to those of us fortunate enough to live here, Martinez is a place of astounding beauty. If you know where to look (and there are plenty of places to look), the landscape shows off her glitter and gold in many ways. 

Whether hiking the hills (Franklin or Wanda), the waterfront, or just the streets, dawn is a striking time to be alive in this city.
