Think of "spring break" and you might imagine picnics in the park, family staycations on the waterfront and revelry on the playground as you and your kids bask in the sunshine. Unfortunately, we're a couple of days into spring break 2012, and rather than blue skies — the weather is soggy and gray.

With no school from April 9 to 13, and plenty of rain expected as well as thunderstorms through Friday, how do you keep the kids from tearing up the house?

Of course, wet weather is the perfect time to break out the board games and spark some family rivalry. Stop by one of Main Street's many antique and collectibles stores, like  to find some really retro games.

Or, put those little hands to work by baking up some treats in the kitchen. Check out the Kids' Recipes from Disney for ideas.
