5th Annual 'Bike the Bridges' at Martinez Waterfront Park June 8

The 5th Annual Bike the Bridges, a Special Olympics fundraiser, is set for the Martinez Waterfront Park on June 8.

Riders will have the choice of a 25 mile, 100K (62 mile) or Century (100 mile) ride.

The rides start and end at Waterfront Park in Martinez, with all courses taking the riders across the scenic Carquinez Bridge and the Benicia Bridge. 

Support personnel and refueling stations will be available along the way as well as a "sag" vehicle driving the routes to assist, support, and encourage cyclists. 

A barbecue lunch hosted by Kinders BBQ will be provided to all riders. Guest lunch tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 each.

Commemorative Bike the Bridges t-shirts are also available.
