High School Opens Tuesday

Welcome back to the hallowed halls of education.

Alhambra High swings open its doors for another school year on Tuesday.

Principal Tom Doppe is set to lead the Bulldogs through another exciting year of learning and testing your skills.

The athletic teams -- cross country, water polo and football -- have already begun practicing and the boys water polo team starts the action Wednesday with a home match against Tamalpias at 6 p.m.

The freshmen football team travels to College Park on Thursday for a 5 p.m. contest, while the Alhambra varsity and junior varsity teams host College Park  on Friday, with the JV game set for 4:30 p.m. and the varsity for 7 p.m.
