Hike and Thrive
with Kaiser Permanente and Save Mount Diablo!
Join Kaiser Permanente for a special hike for families, led by our Hike and Thrive partner, Save Mount Diablo, at Cardinet Oaks on May 12th at 9am.
Cardinet Oaks is accessible from Clayton and offers beautiful natural canopies, blue oaks, green grass – this is a one mile hike that all families can enjoy.
You will have the option to hike an additional 3 miles on the falls trail loop (yes, there may be waterfalls!). In the springtime one can see Lupine as well as milkmaids, a wildflower with four white petals tinged near the base with yellow. Blue Oaks create a canopy which will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a lush wonderland.
Save Mount Diablo is a non-profit land preservation organization that preserves, defends and restores the natural lands on and around Mount Diablo for wildlife and people to enjoy.
To reserve your spot, please email email@example.com with the names and email addresses of those attending. This hike is on a first come first served basis at 100 spots. All ages are welcome, the event is free, and you do not need to be a Kaiser Permanente member to participate.
